This is a hypothetical microsite done for Africology. The brief was to create a competition microsite.

This project also focused on micro-animations to challenge UX and UI abilities.

The Objective

To create a competition site for Africology.

This microsite aims to use UX and UI principles, and micro-animations, to create great user experience that communicates the brand identity of Africology and increase sales.

The Insight

Altruism leads to feelings of fulfillment. Doing good things lead to people feeling good. Buying nice things lead to people feeling good. Africology can offer both due to its high quality products and their focus on social issues.

The Concept

"Your Footprint, Your Legacy"

Treating yourself with Africology is a gift that enhances your well-being and contributes to the happiness of others. Your altruism footprint measures your kindness. A positive footprint in a world of negative footprints.

The Solution

A competition microsite that allows you to do a good deed. By buying a Africology product you are fundraising for important social and environmental causes and stand a chance to win a trip to Thailand.
