In the near future, the Daedalus Corporation dominates the world through its AI products. The once-vibrant planet is now a mechanical landscape of rusted copper gears and cogs, where AI controls every aspect of life, leaving humanity indifferent.
AI has taken over tasks once dreaded, like work and labor. Instead of fostering connections or pursuing passions, people retreat into their own virtual realities. Why struggle to learn a skill or build relationships when you can instantly master anything in a digital world?
This isolation results in a desolate existence, as individuals sit at their desks, immersed in the 'Icarus'—a quill and ink set developed by Daedalus. By writing a prompt, users transport themselves into a lifelike scenario, escaping reality.
The namesake of the Daedalus Corporation and the Icarus product draws from the Greek myth. Daedalus designs wings for escape, but Icarus, overzealous, ignores warnings and pays the price. Similarly, the corporation offers a fleeting escape, while misuse of the Icarus can lead to dire consequences.
